Job Description
The start date for this role is as soon as possible, but the apprenticeship itself only begins in November, when the 'Evolve Academy' launches, which Premiere Fire Security Ltd are part of.
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
Access Control
Video Surveillance
Intruder Alarms
Fire Alarms
During the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will accompany engineers on PPM and installation projects. Once the qualification has been achieved, you will then transition to a full time engineers' role after finishing the apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
Must be 18+ due to certain site requirements, please only apply if you are 18 or older
Must hold a valid UK driving license due to travel requirements of the role
Basic practical electric or engineering skills would be a bonus
A solid understanding of basic IT
Reliable, good time keeping and an effective team player
Work/site based experience would be highly desirable
Maths and English at Grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent)
Training to be Provided
This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.
Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Watford training centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
