At Champion Security Installations, we specialise in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of electronic security system solutions for businesses and residential properties.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Access Control

• Video Surveillance

• Intruder Alarms

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and learning new technical skills in various environments.

Although you will be working on security systems, during your time in center, you will be taught both fire and security.

Occasional overnight stays may be required with this role.

Entry Requirements

· Pass an enhanced DBS check

· Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence

· Maths and English GCSE at grade 4/C or above

· Genuine interest within the Electrical/Engineering industry

Training to be Provided

This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Walsall center, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

• Train hands-on with real systems

• Learn from industry experts

• Complete a wide range of tasks and projects

• Build evidence from your job to support your learning

• Sit annual assessments at the center
